The Problem with Photography

So I'm doing a side course in photography and am learning a lot that I hadn't been able to learn from the normal sites I visit (mostly cause I guess they just expect this stuff to be common knowledge). The problem I have is the inability to do anything remotely professional on a budget. Thing is, I have to use the RAW format in order to get the best pics, but unless your sporting grade A software, nothing else will understand it. Since I've had to suspend my Adobe subscription due to not currently in full time study nor in the best financial situation, that means that my most recent set of photos are completely useless and are unable to be converted either.

Some shots (like miniatures) can be re-done in the jpeg format (though they'll still be limited in how I can edit them), but a number of my nature shots are just going to be left on hold until sometime in the future when I can get around to getting a program or my sub up and running. This has been a rather depressing roadblock, but we'll see if I can't find a solution in the not too distant future.
