In all seriousness, I love this character and nothing really shows how good this character can be then PierceSmoulder's channel. The Doctor Whooves and Assistant episodes are nicely done and the first episode has even been animated by others.

As of yet, I have no idea if Dinky will appear in the series, but I can only hope she can be added in (that and a little romance between Ditzy and the Doctor), but meh...that's just me.

Skryre Skaven Warlord

He only needs a few touch ups to some green stuff parts, but this little ripper is finally finished (as far as converting goes anyway).

I had originally intended for him to be on a warlitter, but this Bonebreaker option was one that had constantly plagued me.

The weapon is one that I have been wanting to make since they released the 8th Edition warhammer book as it's artwork clearly shows a Skaven made chainsword. That's right, Skaven weaponry is almost on-par with 40k weapons (with the exception that it has about 50/50 chance to blow it's wielder up). The pole is a Stormvermin weapon with it's blade replaced by a chaos chainsword. I did attempt to copy the spike design, but unfortunately it proved to irritating at the time.

A variety of parts were used for this conversion, the most obvious being the body of a Khorne Juggernaut and the head, tail and feet of the Necromunda 'The Caller' rat beast. Being of Clan Ektrik, there are some electrical prods n outlets (along with lightning features) on him for a real shock. Liquid warp-fuel injectors add that mad science touch to it.

Overall, I'm happy with the way this conversion turned out. Can't wait to start painting this guy.

Easter

It was bound to happen.

What happened?

Again, another period of time without an update. Alas, it seems Australian laws don't really protect you against violent neighbours and have been helping my family with their moving and cleaning and so as such have had little time to work on much else.

That said, my halt on the Empire project my have come to an end with the new Empire rules. But that's not whats got me, oh no. The reason is that fantastic model, the Celestial Hurricanum. As a fan of both Lore of the Heavens and techno-sorcery, this model is just a must have for my collection.

Warlord update

Will get some pics up soon, but I have almost finished the conversion part of the model. Just need to add the Bonebreaker's tail and file back some the green stuff.

In the mean time, I'll sit here and bitch about the name replacement of games-workshop paints.

What is Brony?

Bronies.......Bronies.......

Hmmm, where to start. I play Skaven, first-person shooters (and Assassin's Creed) and loved the movie Aliens...and yet, and yet.....I somehow find myself drawn to this show, this 'Friendship is Magic'. When I first saw screenshots and images for this show I thought, oh here we go, another classic show getting a horrible updating (I hate the 'new' Looney Tunes show, WTF WERE THEY THINKING??). One day, I was at my mothers house sitting with my two sisters and saw an episode they were watching, followed by a second. As I saw more I realized I was getting sucked into it.

So why? Well, the first is that the characters are actually likable, the story is extremely well written and that it's just overall enjoyable to watch. Upon trying to get pics n stuff for my sisters I came across the term 'Bronies'. Reading about it I realized that I myself may have fallen into this category; so how do I feel about it?

I find it surprising just how much hate gets thrown at Bronies considering that all they do is support a show about friendship and other positive feelings. It's ironic how liking such a show is considered wrong, yet it's ok to support a cartoon that's contains constant violence, animal cruelty and visually sexualising and degrading women. I had hoped society had evolved enough that males could be more open with such positive feelings, certainly that's what we're always told. If you don't like the show, fine - that's your opinion and your allowed to have that. However flaming such things is simply not on and simply doing it because you think the show is girl-y or because it makes you feel superior is just sad.

So, would I be willing to be called a Brony? Yeah, why not.

Well, that went fast, so what's happened since then?

Photography front - nothing. Seriously, Queensland weather lately is ether too bloody hot or raining.

After my first successful Movember challenge, my bro enters his first Shave/Colour for a cure.

Finished the Cannon & crew as well as handgunners for my 500pt challenge. On the other hand, his High Elves are now 2,500pts which means more clanrats to compete (as well as a rat-ogre mounted warlord).

Not sure what I'll enter into Golden Demon this year (I'll have that many fantasy single mini's to choose from), though I almost have everything for my 40k entry (something I'm looking forward too). As for the rest, many idea's though nothing started yet.

Alot to catch up on so I should be updating very soon.
